Horizon Property Support Ltd are seeking a multiskilled Technician to join the Facilities team.
This is a varied role covering multiple disciplines. You will work alongside and support our maintenance team. Knowledge of commercial electrical and general maintenance is preferred but not essential along with a desire to learn and complete more complex tasks.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Carry out planned facilities maintenance in accordance with the maintenance programme and as directed by the Facilities manager.
- Carry out corrective and reactive repairs to plant equipment and infrastructure.
- Complete repairs from work arising (mechanical, electrical, plumbing and building fabric).
- Comply with company/ client rules, safe systems and procedures.
- Update and maintain asset inventory.
- Complete paperwork and provide feedback and recommendations to the Facilities Manager.
General Maintenance Duties include:
- Office fit out - removal of furniture, installing new furniture
- Building checks - PAT testing, water testing, lighting tests (training would be provided)
- Ground maintenance - power washing, gardening duties, weed treatment
Essential Criteria
- High level of attention to detail
- Good organisational abilities
- Full driving licence
Desirable Criteria
1 + years experience in a similar role
