Facilities & Asset Manager

Our well established client is looking for an experienced Facilities & Asset Manager to manage the maintenance and tenancies of their business centres in East Kent. You must have a strong background in facilities, with managing all aspects of building maintenance and inspections in compliance with Health, Safety & Fire Regulations. Having a 'can do attitude' to play a pivotal role in driving the success and growth of the business.

Requirements:

You will need to have at least two years commercial and facilities management experience.

• Responsible for increasing the percentage rate of occupancy and profitability of the commercial units.
• Excellent communication and organisation skills.
• Able to engage with clients, company businesses, contractors and tenants.
• You must have a UK driving licence and use of own car.

Duties are:

• Manage the facilities of all business centres in East Kent.
• Prepare and manage the company asset list.
• Undertake regular property inspections at all business centres.
• Agree and project manage schedules for repair, decoration and maintenance and manage contracts accordingly for all business centres.
• Attract new tenants and continue to develop existing tenants.
• Engage with local businesses and events to promote the business centres.
• Follow up potential business leads.
• Play a proactive role in networking and marketing for their centres.

Company Benefits:

• 20 days holiday + Bank Holidays.
• Work Monday to Friday - 09.00am to 5.30pm.
• The salary for this role is dependent on experience and can be discussed on application.
• Company car mileage.
