Job Introduction

We are looking for a Facilities/Operations Assistant to join our Rapport team, based at our client’s building based on Newcastle Quayside. The client is a prestigious Magic Circle Law Firm, and you will play a crucial role in providing excellent service to clients and customers.

The role is ideal for someone looking for variety in their day to day, providing 5-star customer service to our clients site in Newcastle. We would love to hear from you if you are looking to progress your passion for excellent guest services into a rewarding career.

This is a full-time, permanent role (40 hours per week); Monday – Friday; 9 AM – 5:30 PM.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Standing, greeting, and welcoming clients, suppliers, internal staff courteously and efficiently
  • Communicating with hosts, and escorting clients to the allocated conference room, if required
  • Reporting faults and repairs for timely remedial action
  • Liaising with key service teams to ensure the overall service is timely and seamless
  • Handling telephone calls and providing secondary support to the helpdesk, when required covering holidays and absences
  • Providing a second level of technical support as and when required and maintaining good working knowledge of the Condeco Room Booking and Visitor System
  • Ensuring visitors and contractors’ passes are issued
  • Arranging print services for staff on site
  • Managing the site catering, stock checks, weekly and ad-hoc orders
