Student and Campus Life (SCL) at Queen’s University Belfast provides accommodation for over 4000 students across several sites (for example Elms Village – Malone Road BT9, Elms BT1 – College Avenue and Elms BT2 – McClintock Street).
We are currently recruiting for Facilities Assistants to join our team based in the University area.
You will be joining a flexible hard working team, where you will assist in the general servicing of all student and staff areas.
A typical day for our Facilities Assistants may include:
- Power washing, leaf blowing and window cleaning
- Basic maintenance/repairs such as replacing batteries, curtains, rails and where applicable building furniture
- Collecting and delivering goods via University vehicles (driving licence required)
- General upkeep of stores areas and weekly bin collection schedule.

- When: Tuesday 6 February 2024 (11:00am to 1:00pm and 4:00pm to 6:30pm). OR;

- When: Wednesday 7 February 2024 (11:00am to 1:00pm and 4:00pm to 6:30pm).
Two posts available working 37 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday between 8:00am to 5:00pm (can be flexible).
The successful candidate must have, and your completed application form should clearly demonstrate you have:
- Secondary school education
- Valid driving licence
- Relevant experience of dealing with customers
- Basic maintenance skills.
