Facilities Buyer - FTSE 100 - Award Winning Firm
Location: London (Hybrid: 1-2 days in office),
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + 10% Bonus + Generous Package

Established over 100 years ago, this FTSE 100 company has enjoyed consistent growth, establishing a reputation for quality and brilliance. Through winning the 'World Procurement Team Award', they have demonstrated their leading commercial aptitude, and they are now seeking a Facilities Buyer to join their established procurement team and build a rewarding and successful procurement career.
You'll work from their prestigious office headquartered in Central London, on average 1-2 days a week (or as many more as you prefer). You will take ownership of their end-to-end procurement process - sourcing everything from shelves to renewable energy farms - whilst work closely with stakeholders to support the development of category strategies to maximize commercial effect, whilst defending their reputation for quality and service.
Managing multiple categories with annual spends between £1m - £30m, you will also:
- Develop your own category plans for bespoke commodities, to build your understanding of the supply markets, and present your ideas to stakeholders.
- Manifest strategies to find alternative suppliers through organising and managing sourcing events.
- Work across multiple commercial projects, from start to finish, to provide insight on how to maximize value.
- Defend the company's Procurement Policy, by ensuring consistency across the Procurement function.
This market leading business are seeking those with a commercial acumen, and a desire to learn and build a career in procurement. You should have experience working within a commercial setting and have been expose to their procurement processes. Your ability to work within a team, taking lead and influencing others is key to your success. As such you should have relevant experience in managing suppliers and stakeholder, as well as being well-versed in commercial negotiations.
