Facilities Co-ordinator - Swanage
Summary

An exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced team looking after the special buildings within the National Trust's care in the Isle of Purbeck.

You will be providing all round support to the facilities team through use of our Building Management Systems and help to shape the work plans for the maintenance team. You will be organising planned maintenance works with contractors and liaising with the wider teams to ensure that work is delivered on time with minimal impact on the visitor business.

Ensuring that work is completed in a safe manner, you will work with the Facilities Manager, contractors and the in-hand team to address all the H&S requirements for their activities.

This is our anticipated salary from 1st April but is subject to final confirmation following the Trust’s annual pay review process.

What you'll be doing

As the Facilities Co-ordinator, you’ll be making sure that the Isle of Purbeck operates as it should, by running an efficient, effective and flexible facilities service. You’ll help the property team to meet their goals by keeping standards high.

As part of the role you will be part of a team but have responsibility for:

Organising Planned maintenance activities
Using IT systems to record building compliance
Managing budget spend
Organising contractor and in-hand maintenance team work plans
Working closely with teams to ensure smooth operation of the visitor business
Working with volunteers
Oversight of all the H&S requirements for the work that you organise
