As a Facilities Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the effective and efficient delivery of facilities services across customer sites.

Job Description

Reporting to the Regional Workplace Manager, you'll be the initial point of contact for the Facilities department.

Your responsibilities include demonstrating expertise in both soft and hard services, with a strong emphasis on Health & Safety awareness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the delivery of Facilities Management services to a high standard. Identifying opportunities that will continuously improve all aspects of FM operations.
  • To be responsible for all external contractors in the building on a daily basis, Cleaning, Maintenance, Plant Maintenance and Pest Control ensuring all SLA’s and KPI’s are achieved in a timely manner
  • Act as point of contact for company departments and contractors ensuring lines of communication are maintained and regularly monitored – such as email, mail
  • Ensure contractors attending site have the correct authority to work and have provided the correct health and safety documentation to commence work
  • Support and assist the Regional Workplace Manager and the team with administration requirements
  • Liaise with service providers and contractors to ensure regular activities are undertaken
  • Manage contractors, contracts and suppliers to ensure continuous service delivery
  • General health and safety duties including risk assessments, contractor management and other statutory and not statutory site requirements

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • IOSH managing safely or other Health and Safety qualification essential
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience within the FM Management arena
  • Strong customer and client focus – must have experience in customer facing Facilities Management environment managing external relationships
  • Contractor Management – must have experience of managing contractors in a similar type of environment
  • Evidence of managing technical performance and identifying improvements through the use of CAFM data
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Power Point)
