The Facilities Coordinator will coordinate safe and efficient operation of all UK & Ireland locations, to support and compliment the performance of the outsourced Facilities services provider. Own and ensure all policies, processes and procedures are regularly reviewed and updated in line with operational needs, ensure all facilities service lines are subject to continuous improvement, and delivered in an effective, efficient, and proactive manner and in line with agreed timelines and budgets!
In this role you will deliver a high level of customer service to all site users. Support property and facilities related projects, including refurbishments, acquisitions, and disposals!
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Support the contract management of the TFM provider to meet the requirements of the UK/IRL businesses;
- Act as the initial point of contact for all operational TFM issues and provide updates and information to the Head of Facilities as required;
- Work collaboratively with the procurement teams in relation to existing contracts, suppliers and with new services to support the business’s needs;
- Support the Head of Facilities UK&I in delivering the aim and goals of the Facilities strategy;
- Engage with stakeholders and site users on a regular basis to build strong positive relationships and supervise Facilities service provider performance;
- Work in partnership with our TFM providers to ensure a “one team” approach is adopted by all parties involved include Emerson Facilities team, site stakeholders and building users alike;
- Ensure a safe and effective response to requests for all facilities related activities across sites;
- Provide an effective client response to urgent and emergency situations both within and outside normal working hours as required;
- Own and maintain Emerson processes, records, and documentation;
- Support the Facilities Team with the initiation, development and delivery of projects including office relocation, internal changes, and capital investments, while ensuring minimal business impact and with administration tasks, facilities reporting data as requested and administrative support as and when requested;
- Develop, delivery new facilities related technologies to provide more effective management information and own a new facility related SharePoint site to provide building users with key information about the sites they work on.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Relevant Facility Management Qualification (IWFM or Equivalent);
- Minimum of 5 Years practical experience in Facility Maintenance I Management;
- Successful track record of Continuous Improvement;
- Strong Electrical and mechanical engineering understanding;
- Good Negotiating Skills and computer literacy;
- Sound knowledge of Facility Management systems and processes;
- Excellent verbal and written communication, English fluence to business standard crucial;
- Demonstrate leadership, professionalism, integrity and initiative and determination in solving problems;
- Ability and willingness to travel to other Emerson locations in order to fulfill the role requirements as and when required;
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Good knowledge of UK&I Health & Safety legislation and their application (relevant qualification an advantage);
- Knowledge of Commercial Law.
