Salary Experienced Facilities Handyman required for a manufacturing business in Rotherham. As an experienced Facilities Handyman you will have experience of basic maintenance on plant equipment and hand tools but also be a generally practical person who can carry out other general maintenance tasks (building maintenance, HVAC, ancilliary equipment, vehicle maintenance, hand tools, joinery, etc). Around 100 people work across two sites in production and office based roles. Your role is to improve the facility in response to their issues (install a new plug, fix a hand tool, paint the canteen, fabricate a small part to aid production, fix a door that is sticking, move a desk and associated equipment to be nearer a window, put up an internal partition wall to make an extra meeting room) whilst also communicating with and managing external contractors who handle the jobs you feel would suit an external service provider.
