Job Description: Facilities Maintenance Manager

Location: Dresden

Salary: €60.000 - €70.000 Bruto

I am working with an exciting hotel group who is looking for a Maintenance Manager to join their team.

The role:

Develop and implement maintenance procedures, schedules, and protocols for the hotel.

Conduct regular inspections to identify and address areas requiring repair or maintenance.

Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or projects.

Manage budgets and expenditures related to maintenance activities.

Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians and staff.

Provide training, guidance, and performance evaluations to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce.

Schedule staff shifts and assignments effectively to meet operational needs.

Oversee the upkeep of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other systems to maintain optimal functionality.

Manage the maintenance of hotel equipment, including kitchen appliances, laundry facilities, and guest amenities.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations for all equipment and systems.

Develop and implement emergency response procedures to handle unforeseen maintenance issues promptly.

Respond efficiently to guest requests and complaints related to maintenance concerns.

Act as the point of contact for urgent maintenance issues outside regular working hours.

Liaise with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities without disrupting guest experiences or hotel operations.

Collaborate with the management team to plan and execute renovations or upgrades while minimizing guest inconvenience.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a maintenance or facilities management role, preferably in the hospitality industry.

Strong technical knowledge of building systems, equipment, and maintenance protocols.

Leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Effective communication skills to interact with staff, guests, and external contractors.

Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in maintenance.

You need to be able to speak German and English

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification or degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related field.

Proficiency in using maintenance management software or systems.

Familiarity with sustainable practices in maintenance and energy-efficient solutions.
