Facilities Maintenance Technician

Armstrong Nield are recruiting for Facility Maintenance Engineers to work on a distribution centre in Speke.

Working alongside the site operations teams and reporting to the facilities and maintenance manager. Working on Warehouse internals such as Racking, Dock Doors, Dock Lifting Systems, Sprinklers, Lighting, Plumbing and General Repair Works.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set facilities standards and ensure they are maintained
- Planned maintenance schedules are followed and actioned effectively
- To work within the facilities teams to resolve, repair issues and maintain equipment, assisting with quotes and project work
- React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected parties and work efficiently to fix the issue.

Ideal skills and Experience:
- Served a full Engineering indentured Apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject (City & Guilds EAL, SVQ/IVQ, BTEC all at Level 3)
- Good communication skills working within a team

Working hours are 40 per week, day shifts Monday to Friday.

Salary is between £35k-£38k per annum.
