Our client has an opportunity for a Facilities Management General Project Manager to join them on an initial contract until June 2025. You will be joining a growing team, and will be responsible for managing multiple projects across sites in Filton, Bristol and South Wales.
Role: Facilities Management General Project Manager
Location: Filton - 100% onsite
Clearance: Full SC required - can start on BPSS
Hourly Rate: £35.00 per hour via Umbrella, inside IR35
What you'll be doing:
- Creating a visual project plan.
- Implement safety measures where appropriate to reduce the frequency of workplace
- accidents and injuries
- Executing - managing the project and subcontractors safety
- Have sound financial awareness - must understand margin control, application processes,
- final account negotiation, Schedule of rates, cost to complete etc
- Evaluating successes and challenges to enhance learning for your next project.
- Ensuring any related operational policies and procedures are adhered to for the assigned
- projects.
- Set objectives in line with your organisation and client needs, which will include scope,
- content, timings, and budget.
- Identify and manage risks to ensure delivery is on time, Obtaining and reviewing risk
- assessment method statements from third parties.
Requirements:
- Project Management and Facilities Management Experience for a minimum of 3 years
- Mechanical and Electrical experience
- IOSH Managing Safely Qualification - Essential
- NEBOSH Qualification - Essential
- Able to manage key stakeholders
- CDM awareness
- Strong Stakeholder management skills
- Experience of working on multiple projects
- Time management skills
