We are currently partnering with a software company who are looking for someone to join the team as a Facilities Manager on an initial contract basis.
They're looking for someone to join the team who has previous experience working within a senior facilities role from an office environment who would be able to come into the team as soon as possible and hit the ground running. The position will be based on-site at the companies head office.
Typical duties would include:
- Overseeing soft and hard services and assisting with day to day operations within the Cambridge office.
- Working closely with the overseas lead to assist with wider operations and internal projects.
- Supervising junior members of the team and communicating with external contractors and vendors.
- Ad hoc duties as required by the wider team.
The successful candidate:
- Previous experience within a similar management level facilities role
- Relevant health and safety qualification
- Experience dealing with suppliers and negotiating contracts
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
