Facilities Manager
Permanent contract
Full time: 34.5 hours

Location: On-site - The Forge, Bankside, London, SE1
Salary: London £49,500 - £54,500 per annum

About the role
Our newly created Facilities Manager role will work on-site with overall accountability for the operational and commercial running of our London workspace and commercial arrangements within our national places and spaces, including contract ownership and supplier management.
Key to success is delivering excellent customer service to our colleagues when attending our workspaces and managing all facilities related policies and processes, driving improvements where required.
We are interested in hearing from candidates from a facilities management background or those with transferrable skills who may currently be working in office or general manager roles looking to step into a facilities position.   
About you
To be successful in this role, we would expect applicants to demonstrate how they meet the following skills and experience in their application:

    • Experience in facilities management working at a manager level or a similar office management role.
    • Excellent customer service, relationship management and influencing skills with the ability to deal with all levels within the organisation.
    • Management experience, either directly or indirectly managing others.
    • Knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety practice and legislation.
    • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
    • The ability to work strategically and operationally.
    • Analytically capable with experience of using data and reporting.
