AddressFacilities Project Engineer Industry: Manufacturing Location: East Cowes Hours: 8am - 4.30pm, Mon - Thu, 8am - 1pm Fri Days: Monday - Friday Duration: temporary for approx. 6 months Duties: Planning and providing workspace facilities, working in collaboration with business partners requirements, Plan design and oversee configuration, reconfiguration and alteration of equipment and machinery, Gather and review data concerning facility or equipment specifications, restrictions, completion dates and feasibility, Coordinate with architects and engineering firms in developing design criteria, prepare layout and detailed drawings, Prepare bid sheets and collaborate with procurement for construction and facilities acquisitions, Review and estimate design costs including equipment, installation, labour, materials, preparation and other related costs, Overseeing and inspect the construction installation progress to ensure conformation to specifications and schedules. Experience: Must have previous Facilities Engineering experience and a construction, mechanical or electrical background, Must be able to plan and estimate construction projects and have a good understanding of regulations, Must have excellent communication skills and be able to work well on own initiative as well as part of a team, Must have strong computer literacy including CAD.
