FACILITIES SUPPORT ASSISTANT - Hard & Soft FM
The role requires previous experience in a similar role.
As the Facilities Support Assistant – you will be working at our Head Office in Nottingham, playing a pivotal role in ensuring that all aspects of day to day operation are in perfect sync.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a strong relationship with Clients & Contractors to support high customer satisfaction results.
- Proactively engage with clients, contractors & suppliers keeping them informed of all works and services.
- Regularly review quotation statuses, chasing and communicating with clients, contractors & suppliers to keep the workflow uninterrupted.
- Chase contractors for updates, provide necessary schedules, and support sites with queries.
- Raising work order instructions & Purchase Orders – Experience with NAV an advantage.
- Update directories and keep systems up to date.
- Develop a flexible and adaptable approach to the work demands to ensure that tasks are prioritised.
- Have an understanding of building inspections i.e. common part areas i.e. corridors, fire escape routes, plant rooms, roof areas, service areas etc.
- Proactively manage Client fault reporting and day to day issues.
- The ability to own low level operations.
Person Specification:
- Experience within a similar role, with both hard & soft services experience
- Excellent organisational skills and adept at managing time effectively
- Confident and experienced using MS Outlook, Word, Excel
- A detail-focused individual with the ability to multitask, work under pressure, and navigate changing priorities with tight deadlines.
- Reliable and resilient under pressure, accepting responsibility and taking ownership & accountability.
- Has a detailed understanding of operational needs, having a thorough awareness of commercial implications of actions.
- Ideally IOSH certified or working towards
- Experience of Producing & Reviewing RAMS an advantage.
- Communication skills - a good use of oral and written skills to communicate, in detail, accurately.
- Willingness for continuous development within the role including additional training.
- Full UK Driving Licence
Salary £25,000 - £30,000
