Job Title: Factory Cleaner (Permanent)
Workchain is a leading UK-based recruitment agency with expert knowledge in the Industrial industry. We are currently representing our esteemed client in Avonmouth who is seeking a motivated and reliable Factory Cleaner to join their team on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform overall cleaning duties within the factory premises, including mopping, sweeping, dusting, and sanitizing work areas.
- Ensure that machinery, equipment, and surfaces are kept clean and free from debris and potential hazards.
- Empty waste containers and dispose of waste materials appropriately.
- Follow proper cleaning procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe and hygienic workplace environment.
- Comply with established health and safety regulations and report any issues or concerns to the relevant authority.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the factory, paying attention to detail.
- Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to ensure efficient cleaning operations are carried out.
- Assist in stock management and ordering of cleaning supplies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a factory or industrial setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, products, and equipment.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations relating to cleaning duties in an industrial environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labor as required.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with colleagues and supervisors.
- A positive and proactive attitude towards work.
Pay Rate: £29,000.00 to £30,000.00 per annum
