Factory Operative

We are currently seeking a Factory Operative to join a Rochester based retail production company dedicated to producing high-quality products. Our client takes pride in its commitment to excellence and strives to create a positive and rewarding work environment for its employees.
Shifts: Successful candidates will be required to work set days with Fridays and Saturdays being days off.
Pay Rate: equivalent to £12.00 per hour.
Area: ME1 
Drivers are preferred due to the location of the client and start and finish times which are incompatible with public transport times. 
Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of their client and successful candidates will be required to complete registration and their probation period with Pertemps Network Group before transitioning to the client on a permanent basis.
Job Description:
As a Production Assembly Operator, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring the efficient and timely production of products. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently, and collaboratively in a team environment. This is a production environment but does require warehouse type tasks including picking and packing.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment.
Perform quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
Follow production schedules and adhere to deadlines.
Collaborate with team members to maximise efficiency and productivity.
Maintain a clean and organised work area.
