Machine Operatives at Kinnerton take over from production who make our chocolate products and start the process of packaging/packing. You will operate machinery such as Bagging, Bulking, Foiling and Netting, which you will be trained on. You will be required to ensure that the product is packed exactly how it should be to ensure the highest quality and food safety. You will also monitor your machinery and check for any issues and report breakdowns to our engineering team. Manual handling is required.
Both roles involve manual handling/lifting such as picking, packing and other production duties. The role also requires strong communication skills. You must be willing to learn new skills and able to meet targets working towards daily production plans. You will be supported by your Team Leader, but also required to work independently. In the packing area, as well as operating machinery, you will be required to pack on the line as required.
In the first few weeks, you will be trained in Level 2 Food Safety.
