The Ardeer site is currently recruiting for:
- Extrusion Operators
- Print Operators
- Conversion Operator
- Ink Technician
All roles work 12 hours shifts on a 24/7 rotating shift pattern, working 84 hours per fortnight and every other weekend.
- We are looking for the successful candidate to be driven, enthusiastic, hardworking and able to work on their own initiative to run a press, with minimum supervision.
- Good timekeeping, tidy, hardworking, health & safety conscious and great communication skills are essential, in addition to the ability to work as part of a team.
- You will ideally have experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Previous experience with working shift patterns would be advantageous.
- Full training will be provided
Duties & Responsibilities
- Run the relevant lines within your department to manufacture blown film to specific quality standards and specifications
- To carry out duties effectively as required by the production plans and Quality Control check sheets
- Minimise production downtime and scrap
- Keeping the department clean and tidy to our high standards
- Follow H&S and environmental procedures, and seek to minimise waste
- Prepare for the next shift in order to conduct smooth shift changeovers
