My client is a very successful and innovative fertiliser and related products manufacturing company.
 They are looking to recruit a Factory process technician  to assist in the companies outstanding technical expertise and R&D testing and innovation.
 The successful Laboratory Technician is central to the laboratory team and will operate and control the lab function and will be a key member in the scientific team supporting the goals and objectives of the business.
 

Factory process technician Keys skills required for role include:
·Excellent Lab skills
·Ability to understand Production processes and behaviour of materials, with a view to the implications toward Health and Safety, product quality, and yields.
·An interest in NPD /  New product development
·Excellent attention to detail and good communication skills, happy to interact with colleagues across the business functions
·Excellent IT skills including Word, Outlook and Excel
·A sense of curiosity and questioning is desirable.
 Experience or interest in fertilizers would be a bonus.
·Self started and happy to work on own and time

Experience working within a lab would be benficial 

This Factory process technician role is based near Wincanton and is commutable from Frome, Wincanton, Henstridge, Yeovil, Blandford, Shaftesbury, Sherborne, Temple Cloud and Shepton Mallet.
 This role may suit a candidate that has been a Laboratory Technician, Lab Supervisor, Lab Team leader, Chemist, Formulations chemist, R&D Technician
