Factory Production Worker - Apprenticeship - 13707

Meble UK Ltd are recruiting for an Apprentice Factory Production Worker. The successful candidate will work towards a Level 2 Furniture Manufacturer apprenticeship over the duration of 24 months.
Job Details:
1. Assisting the manufacturing process main tasks (including training & development):
• Operating a band saw
• Operating an edge-bander
Additional tasks (including training & development)
• Cutting aluminium profiles accurately
• Handheld drill operation
• Cutting glass
2. Bench work with the production team – assisting and learning to manufacture sliding wardrobe doors.
3. Finalising and packaging products for shipment / delivery.
4. Receiving supplies including MFC board / glass & aluminium – this includes some lifting and moving.
5. Keeping the production areas clean and tidy.
6. Following all Health & Safety standards.
7. Following production guidelines including completing production paperwork.
8. Any other tasks appropriate to the role.

Hours of Work:
35 hours p/w, Monday to Friday 8:30 - 16:00 -- 30 min lunch & 2 x 15 min break.
