Factory Supervisor

We require a Factory Supervisor to join our clients management team, reporting to The Production Manager, taking charge of a small team.

MUST HOLD EXPERIENCE WORKING WITHIN PRODUCTION / MANUFACTURING

Salary will be based on experience.

Overall, Purpose of the job:

To supervise the efficient and effective operational functions of the Logistics Department. To ensure that all raw materials and finished goods comply and conform to Company specifications and are in accordance with the Quality Assurance Policy.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

To attend daily meetings with other key staff advising any operational problems.

To report any non-conformance materials in accordance with departmental procedures.

To ensure that finished goods are inspected and wrapped appropriately in a timely manner and in line with despatch deadlines.

To supervise the loading of despatch vehicles in accordance with delivery lists.

To plan the unloading and storage of delivered goods in a healthy and safe way.

To ensure that all associated materials are safely and securely located within the factory prior to the end of day.

To supervise the day-to-day housekeeping so that the Department is always presented in a clean, tidy and professional way.

Ensure that all Health and Safety rules and regulations are adhered to at all times.

Helpful Qualifications:

First aider.

Front load forklift licence.
