Following the retirement of the current Faculty Leader, we are looking to appoint a Faculty Leader for English. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, inspirational and ambitious with a strong work ethic and outstanding leadership qualities.
The English Faculty has developed significant strengths in marking and feedback, innovation and creative approaches to learning through partnerships beyond the classroom. This is an excellent opportunity for the right person to build on the success of the faculty through strong and inspirational leadership. The successful candidate will have the ability to articulate their vision for the development of the Faculty, plan strategically and provide effective support and challenge to our talented and well-established team.
We are an 11-18 mixed comprehensive school that has outstanding facilities and a state of the art learning environment; we are extremely popular and oversubscribed. The school is within easy reach of Leeds, Huddersfield, Wakefield and the surrounding district.
