SalaryApplications are invited for the post of Faculty Manager assigned to the Faculty of Philosophy, within the School of Arts and Humanities.
You will manage the administration and operations of the Faculty of Philosophy and be responsible for leading on and contributing to School-wide developments through the management of projects. You will help shape and put into practice policies and processes that underpin its activities; advise and support the Chair of Faculty in overall strategy and support them and other senior staff in planning and implementing new developments to support teaching and research, and review and develop administrative policies and procedures. You will be able to confidently liaise with internal and external stakeholders to progress the strategic objectives of the Faculty.
Educated to first degree level or with equivalent experience, you will have people management skills, with experience of strategic planning, policy development, project management, service delivery and financial and resource management. Once an offer of employment has been accepted, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a health assessment.
This post is available as a permanent position following a successful probationary period of 9 months. Applications are welcomed from external and internal candidates.
