AddressOntic, an aerospace industry leading provider of ‘Extended Life Solutions’ for Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) legacy and non-core products, has an opportunity for a Quality Technician to join our team based at our Head Office in Bishops Cleeve, Cheltenham for ato support our continued success and ambitious growth plans.What will you be doing?You’ll be preparing and performing First Article Inspection (FAI) activities in support of Manufacturing. You’ll review our current manufacturing schedules in order to plan and prioritise First Article Inspection activities. You’ll analyse the manufacturing data packs to understand the associated processes to apply to First Article Inspection activities in support of Validation Plans.In addition, you’ll create and deliver First Article Inspection reports by witnessing the operations and processes being conducted in manufacturing, and population of data within the relevant company system. You’ll also compile FAI metrics to inform manufacturing management for use in management reviews.What will you need to know?You’ll have proven experience on delivering First Article Inspection in line with customer requirements and in accordance with AS9102. You’ll ideally possess a minimum of a time-served apprenticeship in addition to relevant experience in FAI. You’ll be able to understand internal and external customer requirements in addition to regulatory and certification requirements.
