Syntech Recruitment are proud to partner with a prestigious manufacturing business based close to Harlow, working mainly within the Aerospace arena the successful FAIRS Inspector will be tasked with carrying out visual FAIRS work with some basic inspection as and when required.
Location / Hours:
You will be close to Harlow, Essex and the hours are standard days 40 hours per week with potential some flexibility on the start and finish times.
Key Responsibilities:
- FAIRS Inspections: Conduct visual inspections on aerospace equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control processes, identifying and rectifying any discrepancies in visual inspections.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support to field operations, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of visual inspections, producing comprehensive reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Training and Development: Stay abreast of industry developments and best practices and provide training to internal teams as necessary.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and maintenance teams to address visual inspection findings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in visual inspections (IPI Software ideally)
- Experienced with standard mechanical inspection of parts.
- Familiarity with FAIR (First Article Inspection Report) processes and documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
