Position: Family Contact Worker
Location: Manchester City
Salary: £15 per hour
Requirements: Must have a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate, supervise, and observe Contact sessions, ensuring safe and positive interactions between children and parents.
• Set up Contact arrangements, considering the best interests of the child.
• Provide support and advice to children and parents during Contact sessions.
• Undertake observation and assessment of Supervised Contact visits as per agreed plans.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Relevant experience working with children and families.
• Good understanding of child development and experience of working with children and their families.
• General understanding of child protection procedures and principles and MCC social work procedures relating to court proceedings.
• Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding procedures.
• Compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• Between 9:00 AM and 6:30 PM
• Total of 35 hours per week
