The Service 
We are looking to recruit two Early Help Family Workers to support families with children and young people 0-19 within Northumberland’s Supporting Families Framework across the Central Northumberland Locality covering Ashington, Bedlington ,Choppington, Newbiggin & Morpeth areas. This exciting opportunity will be to work with any children young people.
 

The role
Working within an established team, we are looking for self-motivated and responsible applicants, with good communication skills. You will enjoy working as part of a team, but also be able to use your own initiative and work independently to manage your commitments. 
You will need to be competent in working directly with children and families and completing assessments, also able to work effectively alongside our partner agencies to achieve the best outcomes for children and families.

We are offering: 
A starting salary of £29,269 working 37 hours a week

Essential requirements:  

A minimum of Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent is essential, as is a good depth of understanding and knowledge of child / young person development. You need to show knowledge and experience of the Early Help Assessment process and be able to demonstrate an ability to chair TAF meetings.
