Key Responsibilities:
- Manage caseload of care proceedings and PLO cases representing parents, private law Children Act proceedings, non-molestation, and occupation orders, as well as divorce and financial matters (most of the work is legal aid, some cases are privately funded)
- Supervise junior members of team.
- Experience in handling legally aided work and a comprehensive understanding of compliance requirements for legal aid.
- Supervisory skills are essential, as the role involves overseeing a trainee solicitor and a solicitor, along with some managerial responsibilities within the family department to support the senior partner.
- Family Law Panel or Children Panel member accredited.
- Strong interpersonal and IT skills.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and supervisory abilities.
- Demonstrable experience in undertaking publicly funded work, including proficiency with CCMS.
