Douglas Scott are currently working with an award winning firm who are seeking an ambitious and career-focused Family Paralegal to join its expanding team.
In this role, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Head of the Family team and the Principal of the firm, playing a key role in supporting the growth of the department. The primary focus will be on handling a mix of privately funded family matters, providing crucial assistance to clients during challenging times.
Role Responsibilities:
- Providing comprehensive legal advice and guidance to clients
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents with meticulous attention to detail
- Conducting legal research and staying updated with changes in legislation
- Managing a caseload of family files, ensuring timely completion and keeping clients informed of progress
- Attending client meetings to understand their needs and offer effective legal solutions
- Collaborating with other members of the legal team to deliver seamless service to clients
- Maintaining accurate records of all client interactions and case details
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of two years' experience working as a Family Paralegal
- A strong work ethic and exceptional interpersonal skills
- Outstanding organizational abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks concurrently
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of conveying complex legal concepts clearly and concisely
- The ability to build and nurture strong client relationships and deliver exceptional customer service
