Family Paralegal/Lawyer

My client is looking for an experienced Family Fee Earner to join their dynamic team, focusing on Care Proceedings. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing their own casefiles, particularly within Care Proceedings. The ability to hit the ground running, coupled with legal aid or court experience, will be a distinct advantage. This role offers flexibility, with part-time options and a hybrid working model. The successful candidate should be comfortable traveling between our offices as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of family law matters, specializing in Care Proceedings.
• Independently handle casefiles, ensuring effective and efficient resolution for clients.
• Provide expert legal advice and representation throughout court proceedings.
• Liaise with clients, local authorities, and relevant professionals.
• Stay updated on legal developments in family law, especially related to care proceedings.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a supportive team environment.

Experience:

• Proven experience managing own caseload, specifically within Care Proceedings.
• Familiarity with legal aid processes and court proceedings.
• Strong advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Flexibility to travel between office locations as required.
