This friendly events charity raising money for breast cancer causes are looking for a friendly and positive Fundraiser to join their team to start as soon as possible.
Reporting to the Head of Fundraising you would be supporting people taking part in our walking challenges and developing relationships with them with a view to encouraging them to raise more money and becoming long- term supporters of the charity.
You would also get involved in other aspects of fundraising such as management of resources, writing blogs and social media posts, helping to manage volunteers, as well as necessary administration. You will be using a database and a registration and fundraising platform.
Walk the Walk organise a number of walking challenges across the UK and abroad as a means of promoting a healthy lifestyle and raising money for breast and other cancers by organising the iconic MoonWalk London which you would attend.
There will be opportunities to help increase the income streams as well as influence the development of the team. Your 'can do' attitude and willingness to 'go the extra mile' will help to make you an integral part of the team with the possibility of the role becoming permanent at the end of the contract.
Our light and airy offices are based in Sheerwater and we have plenty of parking. Woking station is a 25 minute walk away.
Flexi time with core hours of 10am till 4.30pm
