Family First is a Family Support service working with families who have multiple/complex needs.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Support Worker who is committed and dedicated to working with families and making positive change's to children's lives.
The post holder will work across the Early Help and Prevention service, supporting families who have multiple/complex needs. The post holder will work in partnership with colleagues and other professionals to ensure there is a robust support package in place to meet the needs of the family.
Domestic Abuse Support Worker:
Support will be provided around a range of issues including; The impact of domestic abuse on young people, Recovery work with parents and children/young people, Multi-agency work with other specialised services, Monitoring impact and evidencing outcomes, Facilitation of group work programmes and one to one direct work, Engage in identified training.
This list is not extensive.
You must have recent experience of working directly with families with multiple needs and children aged 0-18, and hold a minimum NVQ level 2 or equivalent in a related field (e.g. Health and Social Care) or equivalent experience
