Grade 5, Points 15 to 22

37 Hours Per Week, Term Time Only

We are looking to appoint a Family Support Worker to provide a family-centered, caring and approachable support for our school. You would be joining an exceptional and supportive team of professionals, who are relentless in our pursuit of excellence and our mission to make every day count for the children. Your core duties will be:

  • Collaborate with SLT to provide family-centered support, removing barriers to children's learning.
  • Coordinate provision with the inclusion team, implementing attendance strategies.
  • Work with school staff, offering support and guiding families to relevant services.
  • Liaise with parents on welfare and home/school liaison matters.
  • Serve as Designated Person for Safeguarding, attending meetings and making referrals.
  • Prioritise tasks, utilising IT for administrative duties, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.
