About us


We have a very exciting opportunity for a Family Support Worker to join the Central Children's Disability Team. We are a small, supportive and friendly team. The team supports children with disabilities and their families.


About the role


The Children’s Disability Service supports children with disabilities and their families. We work with children and young people who are supported via Child in Need plans or Child Protection Plans. Some of our children are in care and others are supported under Leaving Care regulations.


We are looking for a Family Support Worker to support our Social Workers and Senior Practitioners by completing direct work with the children and families they are working with, and also to hold case responsibility for children who are open to the Service as they receive a package of care.
