Stirling Inclusion Support Service is a specialist service that works closely with schools, partners and families to improve outcomes for children and young people with additional support needs. The Service consists of a multi-disciplinary team that provides outreach support to schools and has three bases that offers a more intensive level of support for a small number of children and young people who require this. Stirling Inclusion Support Service promotes the importance of positive relationships and a trauma informed and rights based approach, providing a nurturing and inspiring learning environment where children and young people can develop confidence, make informed decisions and achieve their full potential. We are looking to appoint a full time Family Support Worker who is passionate about inclusion and equity to work with our children, young people and their parents/carers. The successful applicant will provide flexible support and inspire our learners and their families to achieve the best possible outcomes. We are looking for candidates who are experienced in working alongside vulnerable families to assess strengths and needs as well as plan, deliver and evaluate interventions and strategies which enable families to thrive. The Family Support Worker will provide vital links between home and school in order to remove barriers, promote engagement, well-being and support the whole family unit.Requirements
