Lincolnshire County Council has an exciting position available based in the East Lindsey team, for a Family Time Worker. The post is 19 hours a week, which is worked flexibly between the hours of 9am-7pm, but mostly over an agreed three days, each week, dependant on the needs of the service, with some weekend working being required.
The Service promotes quality Family Time between children and young people who reside within the care of the local authority, to support the on-going relationship building between the child and their family.
The successful candidates will be required to organise supervise, record and assess child Family Time with the needs and safety of the child as the paramount concern. To work as part of a team, carrying out and developing the duties and responsibilities of this post, liaising with parents/carers and professionals to ensure that Family Time meets the changing needs of children and families that reside within Lincolnshire.
It is essential that candidates hold an NVQ Level 3 in working with children/young people OR equivalent, along with good IT skills (Microsoft Packages) and a full driving licence with access to their own vehicle.
