At Clarus Education, we are working with an FE College who are seeking to appoint a FE Course Team Leader in Early Years, based at the Hayes Campus.
Our Early Years team, based at Hayes Campus, offers high quality provision and up–to–date expertise with a strong focus on student achievement and excellent links with local employers, for both full time and work–based learning.
As Course Team Leader, you would lead full time course provision and teach on a range of programmes in Early Years.
You will be qualified to minimum of Level 3 in Early Years, together with an advanced level teaching qualification (e.g. DET, PGCE) or willing to achieve this with support of the College.
You will have experience of teaching Early Years including the CACHE syllabus and have good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, and swill have some experience of curriculum co–ordination and development.
Person Specification:
Minimum of Level 3 qualification in Early Years
An advanced level teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector (e.g. DET, PGCE) or willing to work towards a Level 5 teaching qualification, supported by the College
Assessor Qualification (A1/TAQA or equivalent)
Internal Quality Assurance qualification (V1/TAQA or equivalent) – desirable
Must have a minimum of 2 years teaching experience including the CACHE syllabus
Experience of working in an Early Years setting
Good understanding of the EYFS curriculum
Up to date knowledge of recent initiatives within Early Years
Curriculum co–ordination/development experience
Strong team working skills and the ability to lead and supervise a team
The ability to engage and inspire vocational learners aged 16–19
