Fee Paid Air Show and Events Kiosk Assistant

We host three of the biggest Air Shows in the UK. We are one of the world's leading authorities on conflict and its impact on people's lives - from 1914 through to the present day and beyond. Our collections are filled with personal stories and experiences, inspiring powerful and often conflicting emotions. We aim to share these stories with as many audiences as possible across the world in a way that engages and challenges them; increasing understanding of why we go to war and the effect that conflict has on people's lives. In other words, we expect our stories to change the way people think about war.

The Retail & Admissionsdepartment at IWM Duxford is passionate about delivering an amazing customer service. We are looking for people with a professional and outgoing manner to join our team on AirShow and Event days (mainly weekends) to help us deliver this experience to our visitors.

The role of an Air Show and Events Kiosk Assistant, as part of the Retail and Admissions team, is to accurately check and scan tickets for the general public, ensuring that visitors have the correct and valid ticket for the event (and/or day). They may also be asked to help on merchandise redemption; an area that exchanges pre-purchased tickets or tokens for products, in addition to Flightline Walk, a location that allows visitors to get up close to Vintage Aircraft.

Being a member of the front-line staff and representing the IWM Brand, it is essential that all Air Showsand Events Kiosk Assistant are polite and friendly towards visitors at all times and able to demonstrate good customer care skills.
