Form of workThe Feed Technician is an important role for Kames and will have access to underwater and PTZ surface cameras to judge fish satiation. Experience with Fish Talk or another stock management program and feed barge control software would be an advantage.
Good communication and computer skills are important for this role. The Feed Technician works closely with the site teams to ensure the best possible environment for our fish.
A full driving licence is essential. Candidates with further education in aquaculture or equivalent occupations will be at an advantage.
Normal hours of work are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm with a 1 in 3 weekend rota system.
