About the role:
Astute’s Renewables Team is proudly and exclusively partnering with a key player in the UK Anaerobic Digestion market. They’re a dynamic, forward-thinking and proactive business who’re at the forefront of the energy transition and we’re exclusively partnering with them to source a new Feedstock Manager for them.
This Feedstock Manager role comes with a salary up to �40,000 plus a �5,000 car allowance.

Responsibilities and duties:
* With a focus on the agricultural market, developing and identifying feedstock opportunities for a portfolio of AD plants
* Negotiating contractual agreements with relevant parties to secure feedstock
* Liaising and networking with growers throughout the season
* Planning, scheduling and organising feedstock deliveries for the portfolio
* Taking ownership of the logistics side of the feedstock management as well as for harvest and clamping
* Performing quality checks on the feedstock
* Ensuring high levels of HSE for both you and all others
* Develop reports for feedstock budgeting, performance and relevant data and reporting this back to your superior
* Developing and managing a business plan and strategy with a focus on the long term
* Meeting with people on their land and sites with some travel around the area
* Other duties as required
Professional qualifications:
We are looking for someone with the following:
* Prior experience In a similar role
* A relevant agricultural or Anaerobic Digestion qualification is useful
* A good commercial and agricultural background
* UK driving licence and vehicle
Personal skills:
The Feedstock Manager role would suit someone who is:
* Strong with negotiation and in gaining personal buy-in
* From a similar background
* A self-starter and a people-person
