Female Security Search Officer

We are looking for enthusiastic Female's to join our dynamic and hard-working team at the Port in Belfast.

Your friendly and welcoming nature will be the security presence needed to reassure people they are entering an area, within which they will be kept safe due to your diligence and vigilance.

We specify this post as a female Search Officer because you will be searching female passengers on arrival and exit.

• 2 early shifts 0600 - 1400
• 2 late shifts 1400 - 2230
• 2 days off
• Every other week there will be on late shift ending at 3:30am
• This role consists of regular body searches and climbing into and out of cabs
• SIA license is required (or willingness to undergo training to achieve this)
• Working at the Port in Belfast

Your responsibilities will include:

• Searching female passengers on arrival and exit to the Port
• Search of equipment and manual search techniques, in order to ensure that no prohibited articles are taken through the Port
• Xray screening and bag searching
• Vehicle Search and Freight Search
• Resolve queries from customers and assist them with their journey through the Port
• Adhere to security notices, completing documentation clearly and concisely on any incidents that may have occurred
• Carry out patrols of the areas to ensure locations are secure
• Attending to and assisting with emergency situations and investigating reports of incidents

• SIA Licence (or willingness to undergo training to achieve this)
• The right to work in the UK and a 5-year checkable history
• Able to get to the Site on-time for your shifts (reasonable commute)
• Excellent customer service and good telephone manner
