St. Mary's Carers is looking for a full time female Support workers in Hammersmith Area
We are looking for compassionate, experienced, flexible, outgoing, and reliable Support Workers for a cerebral palsy lady in her early 40ties, with a .
Available shifts are from Monday to Sunday, most of them- long ones with flexible duration, mostly: 8 or 10 or 12h – including 5-6 hours of work and 4-5 hours on call: not with a client but being ready to step in when needed.
The Support Worker will be going out with a client to the shopping centre, doctors’ appointments, restaurants, theatre, cafes, museums, and cinemas, escorting her to the meeting with friends, helping with personal care, administration of medications, cooking, and domestic- duties will depend on the day.
We are looking for a friendly lady with initiative, able to plan activities, with common sense to help to run a house, being able to be an advocate for client when needed- in case client is stressed or anxious and need psychological support and reassurance.
Candidates need to speak fluent English, be compassionate, have the permanent right to work in UK, have DBS or be ready to have done, valid passport, NIN/ UTR (self-employed workers are very welcome), proof of address, and some experience in care would be great. In-house training will be given.
Hourly rate £15- £20 per hour depending on the type of shift and experience.
