We are looking for an exceptional, dynamic & innovative Fertility Nurse to contribute to an effective service to meet the needs of our Client.
Our Client’s Clinic is pleased to announce an opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our clinical team. We are looking for a Registered Nurse on a full-time basis to work alongside our Client’s expanding fertility and miscarriage service. Our Client’s nursing team prides itself on providing exceptional bespoke care to women and couples and being at the forefront of innovation, training, and development.
The successful candidate will be a professional and committed individual with excellent communication and teamwork skills, who wants to be part of a successful private clinic based in the leafy Epsom area of Surrey.
The Fertility Nurse Key Responsibilities will be:
- Responsible and accountable for assessing, planning, and implementing high-quality care to meet the individual needs of women under our care.
- Will have skills and knowledge in the management and care of couples undergoing IVF and assisted reproductive techniques.
- Will have skills and knowledge in the management of recurrent miscarriage and associated treatments.
- Be responsible for the efficient day-to-day running of the IVF service.
- Will possess leadership skills and have the ability to lead on all aspects of clinical fertility care.
- Multi-skilled approach including:
- Contact with our clients in person, on the telephone, and via email
- Complete administrative tasks of all fertility paperwork on time and with accuracy
- Assisting in theatre and recovery of patients following sedation anaesthetic
- Phlebotomy and cannulation
- Competent in the administration of Intravenous infusions
- Seamless transition to cover team members for annual leave and absence in recurrent miscarriage role
To work as a Fertility Nurse you will need:
- Be Registered with the NMC
- Right to Work in the UK
- Experience within conception and IVF
- Understanding of clinical governance/risk management and audit
