SalaryWe are currently searching for an experienced and dedicated Fibre Supervisor to manage the construction and installation of fibre optic networks.
A successful candidate would oversee the construction teams while adheering to health and safety regulations, and maintaining high-level working performance. The Fibre Supervisor has a significant role with resource planning, material coordination, and daily reporting to ensure the successful, and timely completion of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and ensure the quality and timely execution of work related to fibre optic network installations.
- Monitor teams to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Supervise teams to ensure strict adherence to health and safety rules.
- Support customer and local authorities with site documentation and health & safety checks.
- Collaborate in weekly resource planning activities to allocate manpower effectively.
- Support daily material planning activities to ensure a steady supply of resources for construction projects.
- Prepare and submit all necessary documents required for daily strike reports.
- Regularly check and update team's site documentation pack and health & safety civil pack as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Fibre Supervisor or similar role in the telecommunications or construction industry.
- NRSWA Supervisor Tickets
- In-depth knowledge of fibre optic network construction processes and health & safety regulations.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in resource planning and material coordination.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Ability to analyse and report on project performance effectively.
- Familiarity with relevant documentation and reporting procedures.
