Field Application Manager EMEA - Water Quality Products
IDEXX Is looking for a Field Application Manager to join our Water Division. In this role you will have responsibility to support and grow the IDEXX TECTA product line in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). This area of our business is experiencing phenomenal growth and it’s a very exciting time to join the team.
This is a key field-based customer facing role in the commercial organization of our Water Division with expected 60%+ travel within Europe, Middle East and Africa. It requires a unique skillset. You will need strong technical and commercial acumen to support revenue acceleration by playing a pivotal role as the primary interface between the commercial and technical teams.
It is important that you bring a “self-starter” mindset to the team. This role will be a key resource for the core sales team and will be expected to provide application support and commercial leadership. You should be prepared to present technical solutions to customers at their site or in a conference setting.
In this Role
You will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and training of instruments both at the customer site and/or virtually.
You will be responsible for servicing of instruments both at the customer site and/or virtually.
You will manage and coordinate the pre, during and post-trial process.
You will work closely with the inside and outside sales teams and commercial management to execute the strategic objectives to accomplish annual revenue targets.
You will coordinate and develop further support activity with the R&D, Technical Support and Scientific Affairs teams.
You will work with the commercial teams to further understand and develop the TECTA market, identifying new applications and promoting enhanced reagent usage.
What do you need to succeed?
You have a Technical Degree or higher qualification in a life science subject, preferably Microbiology.
You have extensive Direct Sales and/or customer facing experience.
You have extensive industry and customer experience within the Water sector.
You have at least three to five years of relevant and applicable work experience.
You possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English, a second or third European language is a plus.
You are a great collaborator, aligning and increasing capabilities by working with the other commercial and customer facing professionals in the Water Division.
You have an international perspective and a strategic mindset.
You have solid Project Management skills and experience.
You possess emotional intelligence, humility, willingness to learn and take and receive feedback constructively.
You have high ethical standards.
