Field Based - Pre Sales Measure Up

Sayjo Recruitment Ltd are recruiting on behalf of a client for a Field Based – Pre-Sales Measure Up Role

Our client is a manufacturer, they have been handmaking furniture for senior living and care homes for over 60 years. They are a family run business, known for meticulous attention to detail and dedication to crafting world-class furniture.

Job Overview:

They are seeking a friendly, professional individual to join their team. This role will involve being on the road full time in a company vehicle, visiting customer premises, usually care homes and senior living complexes to measure windows and living spaces for furniture. This role supports the sales team, to accurately record exact measurements, before they finalise orders and instruct manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

• To work remotely, from company van, visiting customer premises all over the country
• Arrange your own diary and driving routes to best utilise your time / fuel
• Measure up for windows (full training will be provided)
• Measure living space and review layout, to recommend how many chairs would best fit into communal spaces
• Measure bedroom spaces, for bedroom furniture
• Generally, support the Sales Team with providing accurate site information, so they can best satisfy the customer’s needs.
• Learn about the product range, so you can make recommendation to the customer and Sales Team

Requirements:

• Must have a driving license and be over 25 for insurance purposes
• Must be willing to travel extensively throughout UK and stay out overnight when required
• Be friendly, professional and great with customers and their residents
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to record measurements accurately
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
• Trustworthy, reliable, good attention to detail and excellent work ethic.

Working Hours:

Standard 39 hours, Monday to Friday on days, flexibility on start and finish times to allow for travel
