You can be based in or near any of the following locations: Cheltenham, Bristol, Swindon, Oxford, Worcester
£35,000 - £45,000 + HV Training + Enhanced Pension + Vehicle + Holidays (25 days + bank holidays + earn an extra day of holiday every year of service up to 5 days) + Overtime

This company operates and maintains a solar farms across the England. They have ambitious growth plans on portfolio expansion, repowering existing sites, explore new opportunities in Battery storage and expand on Biodiversity for net gain payments for their clients. With the aim to meet net zero by 2050, this sector is becoming an integral supplier of energy for the UK and globally.
In this role you will be providing preventative and corrective site maintenance across their portfolio within a given patch. Working on large, industrial scale ground mounted solar farms producing High voltage power to the national grid. As a result you will receive top-class High Voltage Authorised Person training.
The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical maintenance on industrial sites. They will have comprehensive knowledge of the BS 7671 Wiring Regulation Standards and DC electrical systems. If you already have experience working on large scale solar projects this will give you an advantage.
The role:
- Inspection and reporting on operations across solar farms.
- Routine maintenance on electrical installations.
- Fault finding on electrical components.
The person:
- Experience in the installation and maintenance of electrical systems on industrial sites
- Willing to travel between multiple sites
- Solar experience is desirable
- Full UK driving Licence
