The Association of School and College Leaders (ASCL) is a leading professional body?representing more than 25,000 school and college leaders across the UK and we are looking for two Field Officers to join our Midlands regional team.

ASCL is seeking to appoint two Field Officers to undertake casework supporting ASCL members. The posts will cover the East and West Midlands region, supporting the regional officers.
The post of Field Officer requires up-to-date knowledge and experience of the issues facing the senior leadership teams of schools and colleges and the ability to deal with individuals at a senior level. The post will suit applicants with recent experience as leaders of educational institutions or administrators with good experience of school or college management and a strong interest in professional issues.
Field officers normally live in or very near the boundary of the region that they serve. If you are interested in this work and do not live in the region, please enquire as in some circumstances this may be accommodated. The post-holder will work from home although much of the role involves travel on a very frequent basis within the region to meet with members, to attend meetings and to meet with employers. There will be regular contact with and visits to ASCL HQ in Leicester plus regular training sessions. IT and telephone equipment will be provided.
This role is paid on a five-point incremental range from GBP61,968 to GBP68,259 (FTE). Reasonable travel and out-of-pocket expenses are also covered.
